No current data, so nothing relevant should load on home page.
The Monitor Lizard is continually taking data from the dispatcher and creating histograms in a 'current' root file. Users can stay on the main page, and it will automatically update to the most recent file with a latency of a few minutes. This web browser interface will allow shifters to easily inspect histograms with reference plots, to ensure the detector is operating normally.
Use¶
Navigation¶
To quickly get to the histogram that you are interested in, use the Navigation block on the far left.
This works exactly like a list that you can expand or collapse to explore the current file.
Plots¶
Once you have found the histogram you are interested in you have many options.
Each box has an expand, print, and minimize option in right corner of title bar.
-Can also save plot as image (using right-click, double finger click, or screen grab)
Press title bar to show only that box on a page.
-Or use navigation for same effect
User can grab an pull axis of plots to zoom in/out.
Press (l) or logscale check box to logscale plot.
Press (f) or fill check box to fill plot.
Press (b) or reference on top check box to place a reference plot on top of current plot.
Press (r) or reset button to return to original plot settings.
Drag and pull data to scroll horizontally.
Running cursor over plot gives x-axis location and y-axis hight for that bar of data, respectively, given by content which appears under the plot.
Under mapccc and mapwire under tpc:
Run cursor over crates/planes to magnify channels/wires and give a value.
-Or click on individual channel/wire to bring up individual plots and data
User can pull to adjust axis and scroll on bar plots in order to zoom on areas of interest, plots above adjust to show corresponding data.
Colors specify to specific numbers given by bar plot.
-Generally the hotter the color the more interactions
Capabilities¶
File Browser¶
Users can use the file browser tab at the top of the page in order to look at old data for comparisons
Navigation by URL (in progress)¶
You may also note the change in the URL. Something like http://ubdaq-prod-near1.fnal.gov/lizard/1/6/ would take you to run 1 subrun 6.
http://ubdaq-prod-near1.fnal.gov/lizard/1/6/1/5/ would take you to run 1 subrun 6 and run 1 subrun 5.
http://ubdaq-prod-near1.fnal.gov/lizard/1/6/#pmt would take you to run 1 subrun 6 but stright to the pmt data
Some will find this to be a faster means of navigation.

reference not found->find suitable references
non-scaling reference and leaving marks on plot
logscale option missing from mapwire
add vertical indicator under cursor to make sense of contentor painting a region to have it give a value> scale y-axis for now
no reset button on mapccc
no rest or logscale buttons on mapwire
no logscale for triggerflag correlation matrix or framediffs bin contentsno calib on x-axis^>press reset for now
not helpful descriptions under TPC and PMT plots
reset on pmt summed wave form erases y-axis
add frame number
double click on logscale for tpc waveform makes plot overflow
negative numbers in exponential when they don't need to be
sibling plot buttons
navigation expands too much and throws a single plot at the top you have to scroll to see->click the title in navigation again for now
show first sigfig on mean
PMT peak time instead of optical pulse time?
