Using ini Campaign files

Obtaining an Campaign .ini file

You can take an existing Campaign, and get it's .ini file dump, by going to
Campaigns in the POMS navigation menu.

Then you should see your campaigns, and multiple links for each one; you want
to click on "Workflow ini file" link for your campaign.

The workflow will show in your browser, and you can Save as... in your browser
to save the file as, for example "my_campaign.ini"

Or you can get the list of sample workflows by choosing "Sample Workflows" from the main POMS menu,
and pick a name from that list, and (in future we'll have an acutal link there for this) edit the
URL bar in your browser to .../poms/static/samples/campaign_name for the named sample.

changing the existing campaign

Make any edits to the file, leaving the names of the campaign and campaign_stages
the same.

Then, with a cilogon certificate or proxy in $X509_USER_PROXY, you can:

setup poms_client
upload_wf --action edit my_campaign.ini

and the upload_wf script will update your campaign.

cloning the campaign

You can edit the file to make any desired changes -- change the names of
the campaign and stages, so you don't overwrite something you already have.

Then, with a cilogon certificate or proxy in $X509_USER_PROXY, you can:

setup poms_client
upload_wf --action add my_campaign.ini

and the upload_wf script will put your new campaign.
