Adding/Removing Python modules for the DCMs¶
The DCMs are configured to load python modules placed in $GANGLIA_FQ_DIR/lib/ganglia if a configuration file exists in $GANGLIA_FQ_DIR/etc/ganglia/conf.d.
modpython.conf is read by the gmond daemon on the DCM on startup, and this file loads any .pyconf files present in that directory. Therefore, to disable an installed module, simply rename the .pyconf to .pyconf.disabled and it will not be loaded.
Restart ganglia on the dcms by running this (or a similar rgang) command as root on novadaq-far-master:
pssh -h pssh_dcm_list "killall gmond;rm -fr /etc/ganglia/conf.d;/home/novadaq/DAQOperationsTools/bin/start_gmond_dcm_far.sh"
