Nus datasets

Our group has produced decaf versions of the official Second Analysis files that production have produced.
Eventually this page will be superceded by the official Production datasets page.
For any non-nus datasets look on the Official Datasets page.

Decafs were produced in S16-04-08 since this was the only tag at the time that had the CAFAna/nus related code.
Subsequent respin of FD MC and processing of FD data decafs is in S15-05-20.

The prescription for producing the decafs followed instructions here: Making decafs
The relevant script to pass the project here is nus/reduce_nus.C, so command run was:

% submit_decaf_project.sh DATASET OUTPUTDIR S16-04-08 nus/reduce_nus.C Production yes

DATASET was the relevant CAF dataset input from the Second Analysis Datasets page, and OUTPUTDIR was the official production FTS dropbox.

Subsequently we then produce concats of these files following the Concatenating CAFs page.
All concat files reside in /pnfs/nova/persistent/users/gsdavies/nus/concat/S16-04-08/ and on bluearc at /nova/ana/steriles/concat.

% submit_concat_project.sh DATASET OUTPUTDIR S16-04-08

DATASET again set to the relevant DECAF dataset input (names listed below) and OUTPUTDIR was set to a /pnfs/scratch area since it was made under guise of Analysis role. Files subsequently placed in appropriate /pnfs/nova/persistent area.

These are decaffed from unofficial nus caf files that were run on pidpart input files. The underlying Production dataset is:

There's no LEM output and the nueveto preselection has been applied to several modules we use including CVN and ElasticArms.

MC

Far Detector beam Monte Carlo simulation datasets for nonswap/fluxswap and tau flavour sets, produced in S16-05-20 including veto information filled
in the parent cafs from R16-03-03-prod2reco.f. Decaf datasets have been snapshotted to close the datasets using the production identifier prod2-snapshot.
For Far Detector MC, in order to get correct POT accounting, we have split decaf/concat samples out by period (i.e. period1, epoch3b etc).
