Punch Through counters voltages and rates¶
Counters have been plateaued using the beam (32 GeV pi+, +100 A).
The efficiency is defined as the coincidences between the counter under study and the OR of the counters of the other plane, divided by the SC3 counts (to account for changes in the beam intensity). In other words,
PT1 efficiency = (PT1.AND.(PT2.OR.PT4))/SC3
PT2 efficiency = (PT2.AND.(PT1.OR.PT3))/SC3
PT3 efficiency = (PT3.AND.(PT2.OR.PT4))/SC3
PT4 efficiency = (PT4.AND.(PT1.OR.PT3))/SC3
Plots of single count rates are obtained in the part of the spills without beam.
