Science Portal Products

Introduction

These products have been created by the Science Portal, with the contribution of Julia Gschwend, Aurelio Carnero, Ricardo Ogando, Angelo Fausti, Flavia Sobreira, Luiz da Costa and all the DES-Brazil group and IT Team, and of course, with contribution from the DES collaboration!

This page lists Science Portal products that have been exported to NCSA database.

In the near future, the available products at NCSA will be shown in a interface of the Science Portal instance at Fermilab.

Latest Galaxy Spectroscopic Catalog for Y1A1 (25th of January) - NO PRIMUS -

This is the last version of galaxy spectroscopic catalog used in the Y1A1 photo-z analysis.

There will be changes only if bugs are found.

TABLE NAME IN DESDM DATABASE = brportal.e_10022146_295159

Example query using easyaccess: Describe the content of the table

describe_table brportal.e_10022146_295159

Example query using easyaccess: Create a fits file containing all data:

select * from brportal.e_10022146_295159; > spec_cat_y1a1.fits

The data can also be found as fits file here with README

Details

We have produced a new galaxy spectroscopic catalog suitable for Y1A1. This new version contains the last OzDES observations released on the 5th of January 2016, the final DR3 zcosmos bright galaxy sample and two small surveys spotted by Ben hoyle, GLASS and XXL_AAOmega, plus all the other surveys available in previous versions. This version will be the final version for Y1A1 Analysis, unless a bug is found in the catalog or a major survey appears in the literature, as it was discussed in the last telecon.
