Star Flat Observations

We want to observe all five filters using 20 pointings under good seeing and photometric condidtions.

Field Name Base RA Base Dec No x Time of Exposures
g r i z Y
Stripe82 348.0 0.0 20 x 80 s 20 x 80 s 20 x 100 s 20 x 100 s 20 x 50 s
Dense Field 94.15 -23.6 20 x 80 s 20 x 80 s 20 x 100 s 20 x 100 s 20 x 50 s

The Stripe82 pointing is available early in the night and the Dense Field in the early morning. Additionally
any dense field at low galactic latitude would work.

Scripts and Special Instructions

Standard exposure scripts are available for each filter for each of the two fields.
The first exposures in each sequence slews the telescope to the coordinates given in the table above. The remaining exposures are then dithered according to the pattern given below.

Field Script
Stripe 82 sv_stripe82_g.json
sv_stripe82_r.json
sv_stripe82_i.json
sv_stripe82_z.json
sv_stripe82_Y.json
Dense Field sv_densefield_g.json
sv_densefield_r.json
sv_densefield_i.json
sv_densefield_z.json
sv_densefield_Y.json

Dither Pattern

Use the following offsets for the dither pattern
