SNWG software has produced stacked template images for all fields. Result must demonstrate:
a. Communication paths from DESDM to SNWG and back are functional, as is SNWG stacking pipeline.
b. Stacked stellar signal increases as number of exposures N to within 10% (goal 5%)
c. Stacked background noise increases as sqrt(N) to within 10% (goal 5%) to the N planned for deep SN fields.


A first visit to all the SN fields. Reduced images are expected from standard DESDM processing. A photometric solution from DESDM is required.


Make templates using SNWG code. The shallow fields will typically have only 1 exposure so the coadd requirements are not very relevant.
The signal to noise will be measured by sextractor on field stars on the deep fields. The signal to noise will be computed as a function of the number of exposures.


The consequences depend on the source of the difficulty. If there is a fundamental problem achieving the proper depth in the SN fields, we will not be able to perform the SN survey as planned.
