LUT details

here are plots of the Telescope LUT, as installed on Nov 11, 2012

For each degree of freedom (dx,dy,dz,tx,ty) there are 4 plots - the top 2 ("Hexapod Element") show the LUT values and the Delaunay triangulation used to interpolate, and the bottom 2 ("Values from Delaunay") are from running the LUT code itself. The color scale is shown on the upper right. And note that the y-axis is Az, x-axis is Alt.

The lowest data points were at Alt=30, and below that we use nearest neighbor, not extrapolation.

Above Alt=30 the plots look reasonably smooth, although you are correct that there are some bumps and wiggles. However, for decenter these are all below the 500micron level, if not smaller.
