The focus tests are to attempt to determine if our current "best focus" is truly the "best focus". Evidence suggests we are fairly close.

The test will consist of moving the focus set point to +25 microns for 10 exposures, -25 microns for 10 exposures and back to 0 microns for 10 exposures. This is done by issuing the following command via the Architect Console

take 3 x 60 s exposures at with nominal settings (defaults) to get into focus/aligned.

The command can be issued at any time during an exposure and will take effect on the following exposure.
