ClusterPlan

The cluster observations will make use of some main survey hexes/offsets, but only if there is enough cluster area covered. The overlap calculation assumes the FoV to be a circle of 1 degree radius and the cluster to ab a circle of 0.5 degree radius. Survey hexes/offsets are only considered if the overlap is at least 0.5 sq. deg. Giving the hex reference coordinates and the offset pattern, this defines the list of useful main survey pointings:
