Project

General

Profile

Cal-G4

Photometric methodology (i.e. flat fields and sky-‐subtraction) produces relative magnitudes between bright stars that are reproducible to <0.01 mag RMS on different exposures taken (a) at different times during a cloudless night (b) on different cloudless nights up to 3 weeks apart.

This is similiar to Cal-R1, but reduces the requirement to 0.01 from 0.02

Prerequisites

Same as for Cal-R1

Procedure

Same as for Cal-R1

Verdict

  1. Relative photometry for bright stars < 0.01 mag RMS

Consequences

Same as for Cal-R1
