- buildtool -i
- When the "-i" option is specified, it is assumed that the environment variable CETPKG_INSTALL is set to a path to a UPS database.
- buildtool -i -I <product directory>
- If the environment variable CETPKG_INSTALL is not defined, specify the product directory with an argument to -I
The product directory should exist otherwise an error will occur.
If this directory is new (ie. just created or empty), the ".upsfiles" directory should be copied from an established ups products database:
Assuming $PRODUCTS has a single directory specified:
cp -r $PRODUCTS/.upsfiles $CETPKG_INSTALL
After a successful install, one should be able to see the product listed in:
ups list -aK+ -z$CETPKG_INSTALL
