Hello Zarko,
I’m working on ANNIE and Matthew Wetstein suggested I contact you about getting precision timing of the BNB extraction.
As I see it, we need to get two separate signals:
1. An edge at SciBooNE Hall that precedes the beam spill with a fixed delay with precision of <1us. (or something that can be converted to the same.)
2. A high-bandwidth signal proportional to the protons on target to record the detailed time-structure of the beam with ns-level absolute timing precision/accuracy relative to GPS/UTC. This will be used offline, so it can be recorded anywhere convenient.
Can you help me figure out how to get these signals, or who to talk to about them?
Thanks,
-Jonathan Eisch
