Input is not in the .gz format
ImageTool gets into a state where attempts to capture a one-shot result in an error: "Input is not in the .gz format." Any attempts to take further one-shot captures seem to result in the same error until ImageTool is restarted. Once started, it will generally capture one good image before returning to this state. What initially causes the problem or stops it on any given computer or for any given camera/server is not currently known.

Verified that the error never occurs when reading a .tgz file from disk. Found that under certain conditions a file with length 0 is downloaded from the web server. Suspect that there is a race condition between when the front end says that that .tgz file is ready and when it actually is. Added a 5 second delay to readout and haven't encountered the error since. Will consult with Charlie and remove the delay if we can verify that there is a race condition.
