Description
A zero-length ftstpk (i.e. condor_activity_20140919_vagrant-frontend.main.log.frontend.ftstpk) will cause the child to throw an exception that doesn't get caught. This means the
entry basically exits without doing any useful work (and without writing a pickled object on its pipe, which causes problems the next layer up, too!)
