Editing pre-existing personal device - no changes but no errors

Description
Using the catalog item. Selecting a pre-existing (created by EquipDB many days ago) personal device. Setting OS & Hardware type (which show up as red/invalid) then hitting submit. Changes are not saved in service-now and no sync table entries are generated, but no error message is shown. REQ000000173291
Adding a manufacturer (was blank) as well as OS & HW type - same result - REQ000000173292
All the above plus adding a sys desc & comment - same result - REQ000000173293
Similar operations on a personal device created by SNOW (today or many days ago) seem to work.

This was due to the existing device in ServiceNow being categorized and "Uncategorized Hardware CI". This has now been incorporated into the update process.
