Description

Setting up larsoft should put the current directory "." in FHICL_FILE_PATH (SRT larsoft does this).

Hi,
Our tests indicate that a fcl file in the local directory is found regardless of what is in FHICL_FILE_PATH, so we believe a leading "." is not needed. Do you have a case where a local file is not found?

Job files are found in the local directory, but include files are not found:

bash-3.2$ cat wrapper.fcl
#include "test.fcl"
bash-3.2$ ls l test.fcl
-rw-r--r-
1 greenlee microboone 3452 Jan 10 14:18 test.fcl
bash-3.2$ lar c wrapper.fcl
Failed to parse the configuration file 'wrapper.fcl' with exception
---
search_path BEGIN
Can't find file "test.fcl"
---- search_path END

  • % Done changed from 0 to 100

".:./job" is now prepended to FHICL_FILE_PATH in the larsoft table file in order to replicate the behavior of the svn setup. Verified that local includes are now picked up.
