Bug #4773
Processing: switch cron jobs so that I get sent e-mails about std::error

Description
As of right now, there is no "alert" system in place to indicate when the nearline system is not working properly. This is mostly due to the fact that the cron jobs are all set to direct std::out and std:error to /dev/null. This needs to be fixed somehow so that malfunctions can be noticed immediately.
