Standard thumbnail size should be in the vertical dimension
There are many reason to argue that the standard thumbnail size should be in the vertical dimension, instead of the horizontal dimension as it is now
- 1: Thumbnails are displayed mostly horizontally, i.e left to right. Standard vertical size will utilize display space more optimally.
- 2: Currently if a picture's width is much more than its height the thumbnail gets terribly squashed. If the size is determined by the vertical dimension it most likely will not take any extract vertical space.
- 3: It is more likely that picture is wider than taller. When horizontal axis is either the beamline station, or the time progression, a wider picture will give better detail of correlated changes.
- 4: A picture is included as example.
