CentOS Linux flavour option
This was brought up at the most recent Stakeholders meeting and the requested Feature ticket is being submitted.
In working with CVMFS (CERN virtual machine file system) one can run ART-framework based code locally where the code lives on a central server off-site. The issue herein arises when setting up the software and was discovered at a Harvard machine using CentOS.
When setting up the CentOS expects the directory name for ART source code to be 'Linux' but the directory actually is 'slf'.
The script 'get-directory-name' (here for example /nusoft/app/externals/cetpkgsupport/v1_00_05/bin/get-directory-name) has a serious of switches to determine the Linux flavour to directory name mapping. CentOS is not one of them.
We request that CentOS also be added to the series of checks.
Here's the output of 'lsb_release -a':
LSB Version: :core-3.1-amd64:core-3.1-ia32:core-3.1-noarch:graphics-3.1-amd64:graphics-3.1-ia32:graphics-3.1-noarch Distributor ID: CentOS Description: CentOS release 5.7 (Final) Release: 5.7 Codename: Final

cetpkgsupport v1_00_07 is now available. It will pretend that CentOS is SLF6.
