Task #24209
DR1_Run_7

Description
Initial information on DR1_Run_7.
Schematics of the fridge can be found here:
https://cdcvs.fnal.gov/redmine/projects/runs/repository/revisions/master/raw/DR1_run_7/DR1_run_7.pdf
We will have 4 qubits to test:
1) RI-1 (TERI001) 3 GHz cavity with qubit, from last DR1_run_6 f=2.996106286 GHz; Q~ 1E+8; T=3.8 K (see: https://cdcvs.fnal.gov/redmine/issues/23805)
2) RI-2 (TERI002) 3 GHz cavity with qubit (we were not able to find resonance during last DR1_run_6.)
3) Pappas' qubit (see: https://cdcvs.fnal.gov/redmine/issues/24199 )
4) McDermott's qubit is same as last DR1_run_6, but flux biasing lines are now disconnected and we attached qubit to the plate with aluminum c-clamp instead of stainless steel screws.
Several RF lines are now connected to the fridge with DC-blocks (except those who run DC current), connector panels on the fridge and in the RF equipment rack are made from dielectric in attempt to prevent possible ground loops.
we also have:
5) Pappas' 5 GHz JPA (see: https://cdcvs.fnal.gov/redmine/issues/22808#note-18 )
6) Pappas' 3 GHz JPA
7) Lincoln Lab TWPA (see: https://cdcvs.fnal.gov/redmine/issues/22808#note-12 )

Summary for cavities:
we didn't find TM010 modes in the cavities. Seems that Q0 is very bad.
In TERI002 cavity we found shift in frequency at low power in 7.09902 GHz mode. Shift is 6.4 kHz

Some scans included external high power amplifier when we scanned 2.5-3.5 GHz range to improve noise floor:

High resolution scan of high order modes in TERI002 is here:

Other various scans of cavities TERI002 and TERI001 can be found data folders from 2020-03-27 till 2020-04-03.

We tried to measure Rabi and t1 when all cables except two are disconnected from the fridge and dc-blocks on those two cables were used, but didn't notice significant difference with normal setup.
