Description

An initial attempt at following the Berkeley example in organizing a test project in a suitable
reduced structure was attempted with the latest MesonSTC firmware. After going through a tedious
process of reorganizing the file structure, the project was compiled according to the Readme document
instructions. A number of errors were generated which is attached here. The initial project commit in
the repository shows the starting point of this effort.
Next attempt would be to abandon reorganizing the existing working project and identify an appropriate
minimal set of files needed, so that all the rest can be put in a gitignore file. Once this effort is successful,
the project structure can be aligned to be closer together.

Philip,

I just cloned this new repo and tried to build the project myself following the instructions in my README.md. I didn't get the errors you did and compilation only stopped when it got to the soc_system part, which needs the usual compilation step in the Platform Designer to generate HDL Sources. You may just need to clean your current project - it might be looking for your IP files in the old locations. If a clean doesn't work, you can always re-clone the repo into a new directory.

I've attached my compilation report for your reference.
