Description

The LCLS2 test stand at CMTF is using a SLAC-supplied EPICS-based LLRF system from the 3.9 GHz cryomodules. Primarily for archiving purposes, we want to be able to access some of the PVs through Acnet.

We had originally envisioned using the new DPM Epics access for this. But, after discussing it further, we've realized that the DPM implementation is for pvAccess and the 3.9 LLRF system is version 3 (CA). This implies the bridging will have to be done through the existing erlang Acnet-CA bridge for now.

Someone from CMTF operations and/or LLRF is supposed to supply a limited (~50) set of PVs to access/archive through ACNET, but that hasn't materialized yet.

Lacking any better list from anyone:

I made Acnet-Epics version of devices for CMTF 3.9 LLRF for Gradient, Cav. Pwr, QL, Fwd and Rev Power.
Acnet names are:

T:1lEGACT ... 8LEGACT
T:1LEQL .. 8lEQL
T:1LEPCAV ... 8LEPCAV
T:1LEPREV... 8LEPREV
T:1LEPFWD... 8LEPFWD

These are implemented using the std. erlang Acnet-Channel Access bridge running on clx42.
The Foreign Device mapping contains the Epics PV Name.
If you add more, use the basic control of E:NNEPIC to re-load the names.
