Rich looked at the MOOC/ACNET code and thought it could handle the new trunks. Charlie mentioned that not all front-ends are running the latest versions of MOOC/ACNET.

Jim Smedinghoff wrote a script to see which MOOC front-ends can handle the higher trunk numbers. He found that 20 of the 208 operational MOOC nodes responded to requests from the new trunks. This test brought up a very puzzling result, however, in that TEVA handled the higher trunk, but no other CAMAC front-end did. What's puzzling is that all CAMAC front-ends load the same MOOC/ACNET libraries.

I just rebooted MUONFE (a CAMAC front-end running MOOC 4.3) and it seems to have loaded these two trunks -- at least according to the startup messages during a boot. I didn't change anything. Are there any MOOC front-ends that aren't handling the new trunks?

Jim, could you rerun your test (the previous note mentions you ran a script to find nodes that couldn't respond.)
