Description

CMS is getting alarms about the ITB frontend not running:

{noformat}
[mmascher@vocms0802 ~]$ sudo systemctl status gwms-frontend
‚óŹ gwms-frontend.service - GWMS Frontend Service
Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/system/gwms-frontend.service; disabled; vendor preset: disabled)
Active: inactive (dead)
Docs: http://glideinwms.fnal.gov/doc.prd/frontend/index.html {noformat}

But the frontend is actually ahppily running. This is happening after Krista added a new Factory to the frontend. Not sure it is related.

What should I check, where the code that we execute when somebody does a "systemctl status"?

History

#1 Updated by Marco Mascheroni 3 months ago

  • Status changed from New to Rejected

Closing this as rejected. Turned out the operators were not using systemctl to start the factory.

#2 Updated by Marco Mambelli 2 months ago

  • Status changed from Rejected to Closed
