Description
While working to build a cosmosis_ups
product stack, we happened to create an incorrect binary installation tarball for the fftw
product for Ubuntu 18.04 LTS. The cosmosis_ups
product depends upon fftw
.
With the defective fftw
, it seems that setup -B cosmosis_ups v1_5_0 -q e17:prof
returns status 0, even though it prints error messages and does not set up fftw
.
I have been able to reproduce this error by doing an installation of the cosmosis_ups
umbrella product, then removing the directory into which fftw
was put (thus simulating the broken product), and then doing the setup of cosmosis_ups
.
