Develop a detailed concept of configuration
A concept of configuration will include addressing such issues as:
a) Possible existence of sub-configurations (current, DAQ, analysis, scripting, QA)
b) Issue of non-standard measurements, measurements that produce data function of a non-standard condition/variable (e.g. motor speed). Examples of the standard (predicted) variables are current, positions, time, temperature.
c) Problem of finding a configuration in a possibly large set of existing configurations (taxonomy, attribute-based search, filtering using keywords, navigation through the inheritance hierarchy, etc.)
d) Problem of defining and retrieving subjects (taxonomy, varying attribute lists, series, types, etc)
