Late on 31-July-2018, I commented out the "ulimit -c unlimited" lines in the np04daq .bashrc file and in the setupDUNEARTDAQ_forRunning script in /nfs/sw/work_dirs/dune-artdaq_artdaq_v3_02_00_testing.

For some reason, BoardReader core files were being created on srv-014, etc. every time that the DAQ was being shut down, even when the shutdown was graceful.

Geoff suggested only enabling core dumps for certain DAQ nodes (e.g. the storage servers). That sounds like a great idea, but it hasn't been done yet.
