Description

The clock event specification in GETS32 is getting extended to include the clock system type. MOOC needs to parse this new field and make sure it's the clock system being used with the local front-end. This should be fairly easy to support:

  • MOOC should define a global variable that holds an enumeration indicating which clock system is being used. The default value will specify TCLK, but a startup script can set it to a different value, if the front-end is using a different clock system.
  • The event parser needs to be extended to understand the clock type field.
  • Whether we modify the trigger library API to accept the clock type, or we validate the clock type before defining a trigger is up to the implementer.
