Description

Please consider adding mf severity levels which might be called
"info2" and "info3". The idea is that not all information is
created equal. There is some information which is quite casual,
"all OK" or "I'm starting", and is a good candidate for suppression. Other
information is important to log, such as configuration options, package versions,
file names, heartbeats, and filter results, which we want to always
be the log file, even if the user has turned down the casual
information content, which can clutter the log file. I think logically
this implies adding levels of info severity. The option of
faking it by declaring an important info message as a warning or
error is misleading to the user.
