Description

After recent simulation changes, the BPF dE/dx tables need to be rechecked. I have already dumped them to disk. They can be found here:

NOTE: I have moved the dE/dx tables here: /nova/ana/users/mbaird42/geant_dEdx_tables/

...and while you are at it, maybe adding a nice print function to BreakPointFitter/func/dEdxTable.{h,cxx} to print the materials tables in the same format as the geant tables would be nice (for easy side-by-side comparison.) This could be coded up as a root macro.

#2 Updated by Michael Baird over 3 years ago

  • Subject changed from Check the BPF dE/dx tables against geant to FIX the BPF dE/dx tables to agree with geant

  • % Done changed from 0 to 90

Fixed the tables in BPF and committed them. NOTE: This still needs to be tested by re-reconstructing a few events to make sure that things are not crazy...

#4 Updated by Michael Baird over 3 years ago

  • % Done changed from 90 to 100

Let's not test it and just assume that it works. It will be tested in the next round of reco validation.
