Description

Jerry reports that his MODBUS devices, which typically respond within 1/4 sec, occasionally take 2.5 seconds to reply. He says it happens once an hour. He worked with the developer of the target hardware and they didn't see the hardware respond that slowly. It appear it's being done in the front-end. Rich used Wombat to view many parameters and nothing seems to match Jerry's description.

It would be interesting to compare with other MODBUS devices to see if it's occurring everywhere. Jerry says he has another MODBUS device that responds ~2mS, but once an hour it takes 25mS.
