Task #14265
Milestone #14047: Data product review ("phase II")
Task #14060: Provide ways to navigate associated data products in a seamless way
Provide an interface for access of reconstructed cluster information
0%
Description
I advocate the introduction of an interface providing access to cluster information:
- providing access to all the pre-computed information currently available (that is
recob::Cluster
) - no less-than-trivial computation is performed
- access to lower level associated objects (
recob::Hit
) - access to truth information needs to be considered both in principle and in practice
This interface object, with the candidate name of view::Cluster
, is bound to a main reconstruction action (that is, a cluster making module).
No access to higher level objects is provided (e.g. tracks). This feature would complicate the design in that multiple tracking algorithms can operate on the same cluster. This type of access should be instead provided by a higher level abstraction (see issue #14061).
P.S. I hate this web interface.
