Description

artdaq-demo is currently designed to run with artdaq v1_12_15, released back in February. With the recent release of artdaq v1_12_16, artdaq-demo should be updated to use this release. Much (most?) of the work will involve updating the artdaq-demo wiki documentation (e.g., documenting the addition of the timestamp value to the artdaq::Fragment header in artdaq-core v1_04_30, which artdaq v1_12_16 depends on).

Eric's already updated product_deps to use the new release; what remains, then, is to update the installation scripts to download the new release as well as the documentation so as to reflect the change. Once all that's done, it's probably time for a new, official artdaq-demo release (v2_07_00, probably).

With commit 919342f848f4bb66a024f06e77f2a06eed2cdc5a (currently the head of the artdaq-demo develop branch), now the installation scripts have been updated so the new packages are all used, and from this commit quick-start.sh will run correctly out of the box. What remains is to cut a release, and update the documentation. Also want to deal with Bug #12600 before doing that. Note that artdaq-core-demo release v1_05_00 was cut, which uses artdaq-core v1_04_30 (as does artdaq v1_12_16)

artdaq-demo v2_07_00, based on artdaq v1_12_16, was released earlier this afternoon. Documentation has been updated to reflect this; primary change to the documentation is that it now refers to the new timestamp field
