Special characters in names
We have a user whose name has some special characters in his name. We were unable to remove him from a shift; the submit button took me to a python error. When he signs up for a shift, he also gets this python error... but then uses the back button on his browser and finds that the sign-up was successful.
For now we're misspelling his name, using only standard characters, in order to smooth out these problems. But perhaps there's some string handling which could be improved to avoid this problem in the future?
Thanks for looking into this,

This is in regard of ticket INC000000670157.
This issue has been open because I want to pursue this problem which is not easily reproduced.
I have tested in different demo ECL creating a "fake" user with same name and last name
as Pawel with the special characters and I haven't been able to reproduce the problem.
I met with him today and we were able to reproduce the
problem for the Lariat ECL if his name has the special characters. So, I decided to create
a fake user in Lariat, again with same same and last name with the special character,
but, puzzling enough, I can't reproduce the error. I know we have the workaround for which
his name has been spelled with special chars and he has no more issues.
