Description

The results of getIntensity() calls are used for many services, Acnet, BBM, MDAT? BEL?. At this time getIntensity() returns an int however a scaled intensity should return a float. We need to develop a plan for how to handle getIntensity() from this point forward.

MI/RR/BNB Toroids Gain Related Scale Correction

Expect the scale factor to be linear with change in gain, ie. factors of 2 change, therefor at this time expect to continue to return an int.

Generic Scale Factor Requests

In anticipation of real number intensity scaling corrections, we will build this facility into ChainFilter. The coefficients for the scaling will be kept in the Toroid (or appropriate device type) class.
