Description

Submitting small comment with 3.2 GB image (.pdf) and got this error.

Tried again with a .svg file and got a different complaint:

Finally made a .png file in Inkscape and succeeded in creating my e-log entry -- https://www-bd.fnal.gov/Elog/?entryIDs=66944&logNames=Main+Injector

Was the PDF really 3.2 GB? I've never encountered this error before but it's not hard to imagine that the server would take issue with a multi gigabyte file. If the server had not thrown this error then it would have told you the max file size is 100 MB.

When I wrote the elog, SVG wasly poorly supported by browsers, I'm not sure what it's current status is but it is still not supported by the elog. Sorry.

Tried with an SVG file... It previews correctly but throws an error on the filetype on submission:

Message: User: edstrom entered invalid input while trying to add a new comment. File type for output.svg not allowed.

Maybe all that is required is to add the mime type or extension? A sample is attached below.
